MC GALLERY and MoMA exhibition with Dijana Mesin (My mom)

I recently created a dress with my mom that was exhibited at MC Gallery, and well as

MoMA.

Here's my masterpiece and the concept behind it.

Straight from my MoMA Artist Statement...

"The idea behind the dress full of boxes is being the devil's advocate vs. gravity. Experimenting with overall geometrical means has expanded the thoughtfulness of shapes. The cascading square boxes symbolize New York City skyscrapers. The wheat and the colorful birds exemplify images of my native Croatian folklore. The undersized double blades of wheat represent my mother and I as we evolve amidst NYC's madness."
