Behind the Scenes of Paper Magazine's Summer 2013 'i'm forever blowing bubbles' Photo Shoot

Since the theme of the Paper Magazine photo shoot was 'bubbles,' I had the idea on set to put an animal balloon in the photo, so I made a puppy balloon and it MADE THE MAGAZINE!
*happy dance* Holla lol
Go pick up the Summer 2013 issue featuring Miguel!

When people associate their thoughts with the word photo shoot, they mostly think glamour, (and yes it is and can be LOADS of fun!) however people often don't think about the hard work that comes to getting the perfect shot! That's why I want to give you guys the behind the scenes take on how it happens!

Warning to future fashion magazine interns: leave your heels at home!
Assisting at one means checking clothes in and out multiple times, organizing by brand, running necessary errands, being the stylist's go-to, and returning the clothes to designer showrooms.

At the end of the day, I LOVE it and I'm so grateful to be a part of witnessing them come alive to print! It's an unexplainable feeling of achievement <3

Picture models on set playing ping-pong and skating on the rooftop, while bobbing their heads to 'Started from the Bottom', 'Sleepyhead', and 'Lisztomania.'

 Photographer Andy Spade!
