#BEYONDHAPPY #BLESSED

The other day, I read the FIRST EVER Seventeen Magazine in my hands ♥ ! Going through these archives makes me speechless to see how women's roles have shifted and grown, and how we will continue to shift towards the future. One day someone will be reading the 2012 version of Seventeen Magazine and hopefully say, "I cannot believe the sexism that used to take place!" Hopefully when I'm old and wrinkly, women would have gotten full rights around the world, and enjoy the lives they're living in freedom rather than fighting for it. :')) #hopefultowardsthefuture!

I was featured in Slobodna Dalmacija (Croatian News)! :))

lt was so AMAZING to get featured in Croatian news!
When you're on the journey to reaching your goals, you can NEVER forget where you came from, and I couldn't be more proud of my nationality.
It was such a pleasure that Slobodna Dalmacija interviewed me and titled the headline, 'Nova Bajamonti, 17 year old, Croatian [from Split] who is achieving her American Dream.'

I could not thank my family and friends for their endless support enough.
I've come a long way on my path of self-discovery, and I still have a lot to learn, therefore, I'm enjoying all the goals that I've reached, and all the major ones that I will reach in the near future.

As I wrote for my Flawsome Ball monologue,
"My dreams are burning brightly, so watch out future, I'm coming!"

Glamour Awards 2012 : Women of the Year!

The Glamour Awards speak for itself. Glamorous...But why? Because it doesn't represent 'glamour as in beauty,' but rather glamour in making a difference. Each year I get motivated by the courageous, and fearless women who are often oppressed because of their gender. Their empowering moments about facing challenging differences, speaking their opinions, and protesting for their rights, uplifted me. These are powerful woman taking charge in different industries ranging from activists to actresses-each leaving their mark. Truly an inspirational night that I couldn't be more proud to celebrate. These women, to say the least, are 'on fire,' as Alicia Keys would say.
