Teen Vogue's Buffalo David Bitton Event

Teen Vogue's recent event took place in Buffalo David Bitton's store, and along with being very fashionable (as always!) by providing the magazine's 'Must Have' clothing picks, Teen Vogue offered sips, sweets, and the DJ beats of Azealia Bank's '212' and Nicki Minaj's 'Starships' to name a few! The Fashionistas socialized and spoke about the newest Teen Vogue issue, (how cute is Harry on the cover?! Too bad he's Haylor now!) the best clothing gift ideas and more!
Mary Kate Steinmiller and I!

Goodies from the event!

Justin Bieber's Concert at Madison Square Garden made me a true Belieber!

What can I say, the night I saw Justin at Madison Square Garden courtesy of Guggenheim Museum's VIP booth, I confirmed myself as a Belieber! Justin's soothing voice filled up the audience of thousands of screaming girls, and his dance moves made even the 8 year olds have a crush on him. Due to this, you even can't imagine the audiences' screaming when Justin showed off his well-built 6 abs! Besides every girl admiring this talented young man, I personally also admired the set! The venue opened with a countdown and Justine flying out with HUGE metallic wings that any Victoria's Secret Model would be envious of! There were numerous artistic takes on various songs that featured Justin's home videos as a kid, a short documentary about him cutting his hair and critics saying that he won't 'last long', and even visual stunts such as him falling and disappearing into footage of him in water swimming with his female backup dancers! The show was visually appealing, and extremely entertaining as I danced the night away with my fellow Girl's Club members! As I took the train home, my ears were still ringing, however it was a pleasurable ring that reminded me of how much fun that night truly was!

Carly Rae Jepson and The Wanted opened the set!

Busy Bee is on FIRE!

Greetings Fashionistas! I hope you have been enjoying the holiday spirit!
This month, I was SO busy to post, which I apologize for.

My planner has been happily filled with post-its, highlighted days, to-do lists, and daily happenings.
Balancing college classes, my fabulous internship, empowering programs, fun events, STUDYING FOR FINALS *wipes sweat off of forehead*, and hanging out with my friends, all paused my blog for a bit.
However...all my finals are almost done, and I'm happy to say that I'm doing great in all my classes :)) !

Girl on Fire by Alicia Keys has been my theme song since September. I AM A GIRL ON FIRE.

Please stay tuned, because new blog posts are coming soon!
xoxo,
Super Nova

LOVE working @ Seventeen Magazine while being Seventeen :))

♥ 'ING BEING SEVENTEEN & WORKING FOR Seventeen Magazine ♥ !!!
Enjoying the newest issue with Ashley Greene hot off the press! ♥ !!! ;DD
Go out there and buy the Dec/Jan 2013 issue! aowwww!
#BEYONDHAPPY #BLESSED

The other day, I read the FIRST EVER Seventeen Magazine in my hands ♥ ! Going through these archives makes me speechless to see how women's roles have shifted and grown, and how we will continue to shift towards the future. One day someone will be reading the 2012 version of Seventeen Magazine and hopefully say, "I cannot believe the sexism that used to take place!" Hopefully when I'm old and wrinkly, women would have gotten full rights around the world, and enjoy the lives they're living in freedom rather than fighting for it. :')) #hopefultowardsthefuture!

I was featured in Slobodna Dalmacija (Croatian News)! :))

lt was so AMAZING to get featured in Croatian news!
When you're on the journey to reaching your goals, you can NEVER forget where you came from, and I couldn't be more proud of my nationality.
It was such a pleasure that Slobodna Dalmacija interviewed me and titled the headline, 'Nova Bajamonti, 17 year old, Croatian [from Split] who is achieving her American Dream.'

I could not thank my family and friends for their endless support enough.
I've come a long way on my path of self-discovery, and I still have a lot to learn, therefore, I'm enjoying all the goals that I've reached, and all the major ones that I will reach in the near future.

As I wrote for my Flawsome Ball monologue,
"My dreams are burning brightly, so watch out future, I'm coming!"

Glamour Awards 2012 : Women of the Year!

The Glamour Awards speak for itself. Glamorous...But why? Because it doesn't represent 'glamour as in beauty,' but rather glamour in making a difference. Each year I get motivated by the courageous, and fearless women who are often oppressed because of their gender. Their empowering moments about facing challenging differences, speaking their opinions, and protesting for their rights, uplifted me. These are powerful woman taking charge in different industries ranging from activists to actresses-each leaving their mark. Truly an inspirational night that I couldn't be more proud to celebrate.
